FIELD: railway diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: methods for diagnosing the condition of wheelsets and bogies of a railway train by measuring the values of the coefficient of harmonic distortion of a signal detected by magnetic sensors. According to the method for diagnosing the technical condition of wheelsets and bogies of a railway car, when passing a railway car, the output signal is measured from the first magnetic sensor located inside the railway track, then the spectrum of the output signal is calculated, then the harmonic distortion coefficient of the output signal is calculated, and if the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is from 0 to 3.9%, then the wheelset is in good condition; if the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is from 3.9% to 5.4%, then the wheelset is diagnosed with a defect of exceeding the natural wear of the wheel pair's rolling surface; if the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is more than 5.4%, then the wheel pair is diagnosed with a defect in the formation of a pothole on the rolling surface of the wheel rim. At the same time, when a railway car passes, the output signal from the second magnetic sensor located outside the railway track is measured, then the spectrum of the output signal is calculated, then the harmonic distortion coefficient of the output signal is calculated, and if the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is from 0 to 4%, then the railway car bogie is in good working order; if the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is from 4 to 7%, then the boogie is diagnosed with a defect - body misalignment; If the value of the harmonic distortion coefficient is more than 7%, then the wheelset is diagnosed with a defect - hanging metal part. At the same time, the number of pulses from the sensor outputs is recorded and the number of cars in the train is calculated.
EFFECT: it is possible to simultaneously diagnose the technical condition of wheel pairs, the bogie of a railway car and count the number of cars in a train.
