In this case, both sealing surfaces (51, 52) are inclined relative to each other and each has the groove (53, 54) for locating the sealing ring (55), and the sealing element (5) is arranged and configured in such a way that when the pressure is applied, it is possible to shift it as a whole along one of the limiting elements (3, 4). In addition, the high-pressure pump, which contains such a sealing system, is described.
