FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in asynchronous motors with a squirrel-cage rotor. Asynchronous motor comprises a shaft, a core of electrotechnical steel sheets disposed thereon, a short-circuited winding and ventilation vanes. These vent blades are part of the outer core sheets. Shape of the blades is formed by unclosed slots in the outer sheets of the core. Plane of each blade is inclined to the plane of the ends of the core. Blades are located between the short-circuited winding and the shaft.

EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of the design of the short-circuited rotor with ventilating blades and the simplification of the technology of manufacturing vent blades on the rotor of an asynchronous motor.
