FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in asynchronous motors with a squirrel-cage rotor. Rotor of an asynchronous motor contains rotor end rings, and the outer surface of an end ring is made in the form of protrusions and cavities, smoothly turning into one another, the inner surface is made in the form of a cylinder. End surface of an end ring on the side adjacent to the winding rods is a ring formed by two concentric circles, other end surface is a ring, the inside of which is made in the form of a circle, and the outside has a complex shape in the form of a smooth polygon.
EFFECT: technical result is higher intensity of cooling without the use of ventilation blades on the rotor.
