FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor. The squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous electric motor contains a shaft, a core of electrical steel sheets located on it, a squirrel-cage winding, part of which are short-circuiting rings and ventilation blades, which are part of the outer sheets of the rotor core, the shape of which is formed by open slots in the outer sheets of the core. In this case, there are additional ventilation blades formed by open slots in the core sheets following the outer core sheets. The plane of the additional ventilation blade is inclined to the plane of the ends of the core and passes through a slot in the outer sheets of the core.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at doubling of the number of ventilation blades and increased air flow generated by the ventilation blades.
