SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication. Present disclosure relates to a method for efficiently performing power control in situations where the UE is connected to both MeNB and SeNB. MeNB determines the power distribution ratio for power to be used by the UE for uplink transmissions to the MeNB and SeNB, determines parameters PEMAX, MeNB and PEMAX, SeNB and sends these parameters to the SeNB/UE for use in power control. Moreover, the power distribution ratio is updated by the MeNB with the assistance of the UE, which derives the MeNB with information on transmission path loss for the secondary radio link with SeNB, preferably by transmitting a virtual power headroom report, regarding the secondary radio link to the SeNB, to the MeNB, from which the MeNB derives the information on the pathloss for the secondary radio link.
EFFECT: provided is a method for effectively performing power control in situations where the UE is connected to both MeNB and SeNB.
