SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, and more particularly to cellular (honeycomb) structures. Cellular structure comprises at least one cellular unit made of hexagonal cells. Cells are joined to each other by side edges by means of double-acting loops. Block contains one central cell surrounded by six peripheral cells and is equipped with a drive located in the central cell and made in the form of a cam-link mechanism. Cell-based device comprises at least one row of the above-mentioned cellular units.
