SUBSTANCE: hydro (pneumatic) cylinder is intended for working member moving from one position to another. Piston rod and the cylinder head cover are made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. In the portion of the inner surface of the wall of the rod cover forming the rod mounting hole, an aluminum film is formed, and a diamond-like carbon film is formed on the outer surface of the wall of the piston rod, which slides in contact with the aluminum film.
