FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: hydro (pneumatic) cylinder is intended for working member moving from one position to another. Hydraulic cylinder (10) has head cover (14) and rod cover (16) installed at both end portions of sleeve (12), wherein head cover (14) and rod cover (16) are formed by casting. On the outer circumferential surface of first recess (28), first communication channel (34) is formed in head cover (14), which is arranged in the form of a groove in a radial outward direction. First annular holder (32), pressed into first recess (28), ensures that the open portions of this first communication channel (34) are closed and the cross-section of this channel is rectangular. First communication channel (34) is connected with cylinder chamber (20) inside sleeve (12) and with first cushioning chamber (30) on head cover (14).

EFFECT: simplification of hydro (pneumatic) cylinder production.
