SUBSTANCE: on the inner surfaces of wall (14b, 16b) of cover (14) of the head and cover (16) of the rod in the hydro (pneumatic) cylinder (10) there are appropriate sets of the first and second centering pins (36, 80), located with the protrusion of inner surfaces (14b, 16b) wall. First and second centering pins (36, 80) are placed on the circumference of a given diameter, brought into contact with the inner circumferential surface of cylinder liner (12) or inscribed into this circumferential surface. When assembling cylinder liner (12) relative to head cover (14) and stem cover (16), flanges (38) of the first and second centering pins (36, 80) are brought into contact with the inner circumferential surface of cylinder sleeve (12) or fit into this surface, which allows assembling liner (12) of this cylinder with ensuring unimpeded and reliable positioning coaxially with the centers of cover (14) of the head and cover (16) of the rod.

EFFECT: manufacturability of hydro (pneumatic) cylinder assembly.
