SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Described is a method for treating a patient with a degenerative bone condition. Said method comprises the formation of a void in a localized region of a degenerative bone and filling the void with bone regeneration material, which results in the formation of a new healthy natural bone material.
EFFECT: method is suitable for improving bone quality in a localized region of a degenerative bone, such as osteopenic or osteoporotic bone, by improving bone mineral density (BMD) up to achieving a substantially similar BMD of an average healthy person at the age of the BMD peak.
