FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthopedics and traumatology, and can be used for the surgical prevention of pathological fractures against the background of osteoporosis of various origins. In patients with osteoporosis of the extremities, an X-ray examination is performed, a fixator of the required size is selected from the X-ray images, and the locations of the cavities are determined. Next, bone tissue curettage is carried out in the places of the cavities and the cavities are filled with biocomposite material. Then, the reinforcing fixator is installed into the bone, while the reinforcing fixator is biodegradable and is inserted into the bone antegrade or retrogadly through the external cortical perforation. As a reinforcing, a retainer is used, made in the form of a spoke, bent in the form of a coiled cylindrical spring, the coils of which are parallel to each other and are located at an angle of 30-50 degrees, while the end part of the proximal coil of the fixator ends with a grip for the setting tool. For antegrade insertion, a retainer is used, three distal turns of which are made in the form of a conical spring, and for retrograde insertion, a retainer with a cylindrical distal part is used.
EFFECT: method provides for the expansion of the arsenal of means of reinforcement and prevention of fractures of long tubular bones with simultaneous prevention of the progression of their aseptic necrosis and stimulation of the formation of a new healthy natural bone material due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
