FIELD: network communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network communication technologies. Method for iteratively decoding a cascaded code with serial connection through an interlacer of the component codes Bose-Chowdhury-Hocquingham, which consists in modifying the syndrome of code words of an internal code and external code in the second and subsequent iterations, further on the modified syndromes, the positions of distorted elements in the code words of the internal code and the eternal code are calculated and further corrected, while decoding the concatenated cascaded code through the interlacer of the internal BCH code and the external Reed-Solomon code, it is also necessary to calculate the error values for the code words of the Reed-Solomon code, in order to detect detected but unmanaged errors in the code words of the internal and external codes, the equality of the error locator equation and the number of found roots are checked, if they are not equal, then refuse to correct the errors.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of load on equipment.
