SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the means of diagnosing chronic pathologies of the brain of mammalian of ischemic genesis. Kit of reagents for diagnosing chronic brain pathologies of mammalian of ischemic genesis includes a hybrid peptide having at least 90 % identity along the entire length of the sequence SEQ ID NO:1 and immobilized on a solid carrier, and a reagent for determining the presence of autoantibodies to said hybrid peptide in a mammalian biological fluid having an affinity for mammalian immunoglobulins. Also, a diagnostic test strip containing said reagent kit and a method for identifying patients with chronic brain pathologies of ischemic genesis using said test strip are disclosed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a fast and objective assessment of the condition of a patient with chronic brain damage of ischemic genesis and suspected of a second stroke.
