SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary devices. Drain device having a housing comprises a trap, an inner pipe element and a drain insert, which is designed to be height-adjustable relative to the trap. Inner pipe element is at least partially arranged in the drain insert. End of the inner pipe element, which is the bottom end while in use, is connected to an end of an inlet of the trap, which is the top end while in use, in a water-tight manner by means of a first seal. Second seal for water-tight sealing of a first intermediate chamber between the inner pipe element and the drain inlet is arranged on an end of the inner pipe element, which is the top end while in use. Third seal for water-tight sealing of a second intermediate chamber between the housing of the drain device and the drain inlet is arranged on an end of the housing of the drain device, which is the top end while in use. Trap is installed on the first seal.
EFFECT: effective prevention of odours or odorous gases.
