SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of manufacturing ceramic products for the electronic and radio engineering industry and can be used in the production of electromagnetic radiation absorbers, for example, in powerful generators, amplifiers, traveling wave tubes, klystrons and antenna-feeder systems. Ceramic material is made on the basis of aluminum oxide, in which an iron-organic additive – ferrocene or ferrocenylcarborane with a mass fraction of 2 to 5 % – is added as the radar absorbing component.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining high-heat-resistant, high-heat conductive absorbers with adjustable absorbing and reflecting characteristics.
