FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: horizontal cut of sclera at distance 4 mm from limbus for 2/3 of thickness is made, and sclera is layered towards limbus through it. Two additional lateral cuts of sclera are made at angle to limbus in projection of layering, through intrascleral space - puncture in the area of limbus reaching anterior chamber. Trabeculectomy and iridectomy are performed, after which thread is introduced through horizontal cut into intrascleral space and brought out through lateral cut. Puncture-in is performed at distance 1 mm from its edge, and puncture-out is performed I the area of limbus, then reverse puncture-in and puncture-out at distance 1 mm from the other edge of side cut are performed with formation of a loop.Thread is passed in reverse direction through lateral cut into intrascleral space and brought out through horizontal cut on sclera. Knot is formed above sclera from two ends of thread, after which one end of thread is brought out onto surface of conjunctiva, passed in reverse direction to formed knot with formation of loop above conjunctiva. Both ends of thread are tied around the knot, and in postoperative period traction by loops, located above cornea and conjunctiva, with bringing knot from sclera surface into intrascleral space and in reverse direction.

EFFECT: method ensures prevention of development of subconjunctival and intrascleral fibrous adhesions with stable and prolonged drainage of intraocular fluid through surgically created ways of outflow in case of penetrating anti-glaucoma surgery.
