METHOD FOR TRACHEO-TRACHEAL ANASTOMOSIS FORMATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2668705 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to thoracic surgery, and can be used in the formation of tracheo-tracheal anastomosis. For this, a single seam stitch is applied first along the median line of the front surfaces of the proximal and distal ends of the trachea. Then, the first seam is applied to the side walls of the tracheal ends to be compared, and the node is formed on the side of adventitia. Short end of the ligature is taken on the holder, and the long end of the ligature is used for a continuous suture over the entire length of the anastomosis, in this case, the sidewall of the trachea is first sutured from the side of the first suture. Then anastomosis is applied to the posterior membrane – the membranous wall, after which – the opposite side wall is sewn and, lastly, the front wall. Needles for each stitch are injected from the side of the mucous membrane, and the injection from the side of the adventitia. At the end of the formation of the anastomosis, the knot is tied on the side of the adventitia, using the remaining end of the long ligature and the short end of the ligature from the first suture, after which the strands of the holder are removed. At the proximal and distal ends of the trachea, a continuous single-row seam is applied.

EFFECT: method provides for improvement of healing in the area of tracheo-tracheal anastomosis, prevention of anastomosis failure and the formation of tracheal stenosis, by accurately comparing the cross-linking layers of the proximal and distal ends of the trachea and the additional fixation of the cartilage layer.
