First and second ends of the filter packing define the first and second outer circumferences of the packing at the junction of the first and second end parts. First and second outer circumferences of the packing are aligned with each other with eccentricity. First radial seal of the body radially outward is provided on the first end member. Second end piece is provided with a second resistive member for engaging the body, radially inwardly facing. First radial seal of the housing and the second element of the resistive device are aligned with each other with eccentricity. At the first end of the pack, there is a seal comprising a first sealing member defining a sealing surface of a non-circular profile comprising at least three radially extending portions alternating with at least three recesses to define a plurality of equidistant radially extending curved ridges on the sealing surface around and relative to the central axis of the sealing surface. On the second end part, there is a protrusion of the receptacle that extends into the inner space of the cartridge and is characterized by an outer surface on which a central axial protrusion facing away from the first end piece is provided. Air cleaner comprises a casing provided with at least one process cover, an air inlet and an air outlet, and a filter cartridge mounted in the housing to be operable and hermetically sealed to the housing.
