FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation an electrode for a lithium titanate cell. Such method comprises the following steps: preparation of a binder composition containing a fluoro-acrylic hybrid latex, in which fluorine and acrylate polymers are hybridized into a particle and such particles are dispersed in an aqueous solution, and combining lithium-nickel-cobalt-aluminium oxide (NCA) or titanate with carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) in said aqueous solution to produce at least one electrochemical cell electrode. Also, the invention relates to an electrode, an electrochemical cell and the use of an electrode.

EFFECT: use of an electrode makes it possible to reduce gas formation in lithium titanate cells.
