FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic gum and can be used in chemical and oil and gas industry. Method of production of a catalytic complex used in isoprene polymerization is described, which includes interaction of a mixture of toluene solutions of triisobutylaluminium and diisobutylaluminium hydride (A), piperylene (B) with lanthanide chloride (C), adding lanthanide chloride (C) to the pre-cooled to -(15÷5) °C mixture of organoaluminum compounds with piperylene (A+B), maintaining the reaction mixture at a temperature of 10÷50 °C not less than 10 hours, and gadolinium chloride is used as the chloride of lanthanide in a molar ratio of A:B:C equal to (15÷25):(2÷3):1. Cis-1,4-polyisoprene with reduced content of 3,4-cis-units is obtained using a catalytic complex obtained by said method.
EFFECT: obtaining cis-1,4-polyisoprene with reduced content of 3,4-units, increased strength of raw rubber compounds, increased strength of vulcanizates.
