SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following: if the primary station loses the DC voltage control function, it is determined whether the primary station can communicate with at least one secondary station, and if so, the primary station sends information about the loss of the DC voltage control function by the primary DC voltage control station to said at least one secondary station and a DC voltage control function is activated in one of said at least one secondary station for controlling DC voltage. Before activating the DC voltage control function of the secondary station, if the DC voltage exceeds the operating range, an auxiliary DC voltage control function is activated in said at least one secondary station to control the released or absorbed active power. If the primary station can not communicate with all or some of the at least one secondary station and if the DC voltage exceeds the operating range, an auxiliary DC voltage control function is activated in said at least one secondary station to control the current active power being released or absorbed, in accordance with an algorithm, one secondary station is determined in order to activate the DC voltage control function to control the DC voltage.
EFFECT: providing voltage control by a secondary station with the activation of the auxiliary control function to compensate for the power shortage.
