FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the transmission of power of high and ultra-high voltage direct current. Sequential valve control device for transmitting high voltage direct current (24) is used to adjust series circuit (10) comprising two or more valves (4) equipped with adjustable power semiconductors. Each valve is equipped with current control unit (17) and voltage control unit (13). Current control unit adjusts the direct current passing through the valve corresponding thereto, and the voltage control unit adjusts the voltage on both sides of the valve corresponding thereto. One valve is selected from the sequential valves as a main control valve, and others are accepted as secondary control valves. Main control valve selects a trigger angle output by the current control unit to control it, the secondary control valve selects a trigger angle, received after its transmission by the main control valve, and the output value of the voltage control unit passes through the subtractor to control it.
EFFECT: technical result is providing the power control by different valves while adjusting the current by using series valves.
