FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to well separators protecting submersible pump from abrasive particles. Well separator comprises housing with inlet holes, top adapter with inner thread screwed on discharge tube to surround housing top end, screw arranged in annular clearance between housing and discharge tube, and container. Housing is made of fiber glass with a polyurethane coating inside and is covered by a lower adapter, which has a thread for connecting container, peripheral holes for connection with container and central hole for lower threaded end of discharge tube, equipped with perforations below the screw and plugged from below.
EFFECT: higher reliability and longer life of well separators by eliminating abrasive wear and housing corrosion.
