SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology and can be used when calibrating a micro-acceleration sensor on a spacecraft (SC) in a space flight. In the method of calibrating the microacceleration sensor in space flight conditions, in addition, the impact on the micro-accelerating sensor fixed to the spacecraft is performed by applying a calibrating pulse to the spacecraft by switching on the propulsion system of the spacecraft, before and after the interval of application of the calibration pulse, the parameters of the spacecraft orbit are measured, the actual value of the pulse applied to the spacecraft is determined from the change in the orbital parameters of the spacecraft, according to the sensor, the values of the microaccelerations are determined at the interval of application of the calibration pulse, a comparison is made of the magnitude of the pulse determined from the sensor readings in the interval of application of the calibration pulse with the actual value of the applied calibration pulse determined from the change in the orbital parameters of the spacecraft, and based on the results of this comparison, the sensor is calibrated.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the calibration.
