FIELD: space engineering; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: method of calibrating a microacceleration sensor in a space flight comprises steps of measuring and recording a distance between a sensitive element of the sensor and the centre of mass of the microacceleration sensor, determining and recording the predicted angular velocity of the microacceleration sensor, which corresponds to the calibrated level of microaccelerations, microacceleration sensor is launched with a fixed predicted value of angular velocity inside the volume of the spacecraft with known motion parameters, recording the movement of the microacceleration sensor and determining its angular speed and angular acceleration by the movement of the reference lines applied to the microacceleration sensor, determining the microacceleration calibration value and comparing the microacceleration calibration value and the measured value, determining the microacceleration sensor measurement error.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of calibration.
