MEASURING SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING PARAMETERS OF WATER MEDIUM IN COURSE OF SHIP (OPTIONS) Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B63B21/66 B63G8/42

Abstract RU 2669251 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means of studying and exploration of seas and oceans using towed underwater vehicles that can change path of motion in depth and is intended to perform sea research. In the first version of invention, system comprises a towed underwater carrier mounted on carrier line with a strong, sealed and equipped with a streamlined wing housing with meters, as well as a sinking device, device for controlling position of carrier, a power supply of meters, and information receiving device placed on the ship. Sinking device is made in form of a streamlined body of predetermined weight and shape mounted on the lower end of cable-rope payed out predetermined depth. Carrier is provided with roller bearings, made with the ability to move the carrier under the action of oncoming flow on cable-cable, and brake. Lift wing is fixed with the possibility of changing angle of attack, and device for controlling position of carrier is made in form of control device for controlling angle of attack of lift wing, which comprises a power supply unit and is placed in housing. Second version of invention differs from the first in that a cable is used as the carrier line, and the carrier is not only automatically controlled, but also autonomous device, due to the fact that device for controlling angle of attack of lift wing and scientific equipment unit are equipped with their own, autonomous, power supplies, and information receiving device is located in the body of carrier.

EFFECT: information content is improved, as well as performance of system is improved - increasing its reliability.
