FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely, to methods of breeding useful insects used to protect crops. Larvae are cultivated on an artificial nutrient medium containing fresh yolk of a hen's egg, sucrose, ascorbic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester and distilled water. Use a nutrient medium packaged in a food film and additionally containing frozen lepidopterans bee moths, oatmeal, soybean meal and brewer's yeast with the following component ratio, wt. %: frozen lepidopterans bee moths – 30.0; oatmeal – 7.0; soybean meal – 5.0; brewer's yeast – 4.0; fresh egg yolk – 4.0; sucrose – 4.0; ascorbic acid – 1.5; methyl ester of p-hydroxybenzoic acid 0.25; distilled water – the rest.
EFFECT: cost of expensive and labor-intensive components is reduced, and the processability of the process increases with the high yield of the target product.
