Pneumatic tyre includes main grooves (20) located in shoulder of tyre tread sections (1) and passing in direction along circumference of the tyre; plurality of ground loosening grooves (41) extending outwardly in the transverse direction of the tire from main grooves (20) and reaching the side portions; and plurality of blocks (42) separated by main grooves (20) and ground loosening grooves (41). Raised portion (50) protruding from blocks (42) is provided on the end portion from the outside in the transverse direction of the tire from blocks (42); protruding portion (50) extending in the circumferential direction of the tire so that it protrudes into grooving grooves (41) located on both sides of raised portion (50).

EFFECT: improved running characteristics of muddy or sandy soils, snow-covered roads.
