SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry and relates to a method of producing a medicinal product with a neuroprotective effect. A method of obtaining a medicinal product with a neuroprotective effect from the leaves of cornflower blueberry by extracting plant material, in which the plant material crushed to a particle size of 2–3 mm in diameter is mixed with water in the ratio of raw material: extractant 1:(15–17), the mixture is subjected to ultrasonic treatment with a frequency of 50 kHz at 90–94°C for 50–70 min, the mixture is filtered and washed on the filter with an additional volume of water, which is 1:1 by weight of the crushed plant material, the extraction is repeated under the same conditions for 20-40 min, the aqueous extracts are concentrated in vacuum to 1/17.5–1/37.5 of the original volume, the concentrated extracts are combined, dried, and crushed.

EFFECT: above method provides for the production of a total herbal remedy containing caffeylquinic acids, which has an increased neuroprotective effect due to the high content of active substances.
