FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical composition intended to provide an agent for induced hypometabolism and hypothermia in mammals. Pharmaceutical composition includes a beta-blocker propranolol, sympatholitic reserpine, an antianginal drug ivabradine, an antihistamine drug diphenhydramine, serotonin hydrochloride, neuroleptic agent with hypothermic effect of pericyazine, antithyroid agent propicil, magnesium sulfate and pharmaceutically acceptable solvent, in the amounts indicated in the claims. Agent further comprises a carrier, which is a perfluorocarbon emulsion. Ratio of the volume of said pharmaceutical composition and the volume of said carrier is from 1:2 to 1:3. Medicament may further comprise a perfluorocarbon emulsion saturated with an inert gas, preferably xenon.
EFFECT: invention provides use of a new agent in emergency medicine.
