SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for air cooling of gas and can be used, in particular, for cooling the gas after compression at the compressor stations of the main gas pipelines. Automatic control system for the gas air-cooling apparatus, comprising a temperature setting unit, first and second regulators, frequency-controlled electric drive, including a frequency converter and asynchronous short-circuited motors for fan drives, fans, heat exchanger and temperature sensor, the output of the second regulator is connected to the input of the frequency converter, the output of the frequency converter is connected to induction motors, is additionally equipped with a third regulator in the form of a proportional differential controller, the input of the third regulator is connected to the output of the temperature sensor, its output is connected to the second input of the first regulator and the second input of the second regulator, the output of the temperature setting unit is connected to the first input of the first regulator, the first and second regulators being integral regulators.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the required quality index of regulation in conditions of changing environmental parameters.
