FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Aircraft contains a fuselage, a tail unit, a swivel wing, a propulsion system with air screws mounted on the wing, and an auxiliary power unit retracted in cruising flight with the screws placed on the turning beams on both sides of the wing. Each console can accommodate 7 propellers – 3 screws along and in front of the leading edge of the wing, and 4 screws symmetrically located on both sides of the wing on the rotary beams. Folding beams are installed with the ability to fold back in the flow.
EFFECT: high energy efficiency of the propellers is achieved both in the modes of vertical take-off and landing, and in cruising flight, as well as providing safety in the event of failure of any of the engines.
