FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Convertible aircraft comprises fuselage, wing, cruise and lifting propeller units. Lifting propeller units are installed in pairs on both sides of wing on pylons connected with drive for their movement. Screws of lifting propeller groups are made folding along pylons in plane of rotation of propellers. Drive is designed so that pylons with a pair of lifting propeller groups can be moved in parallel to the plane of symmetry of the aircraft. Each pylon of attachment of a pair of lifting propeller groups is installed in a fairing arranged parallel to the plane of symmetry of the aircraft, which contains a fixed middle part fixed on the wing and front and rear parts moved together by the pylon.
EFFECT: providing high energy efficiency of propellers both at vertical takeoff and landing modes, and in cruising flight.
