SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method implemented by a base station BS for facilitating interference cancellation at a user terminal UE and to a corresponding base station BS. Method comprises presetting one or more sets of transmission parameters, where one or more transmission parameters in these one or more sets are limited, to take values from the corresponding reduced sets of values from a set of values possible for the corresponding one or more transmission parameters, each set of said one or more sets of transmission parameters can be identified by its unique indicator. Method further comprises configuring transmissions of the base station BS that can interfere with downstream transmissions to the address of the UE from the base station BS serving this UE, using one of a plurality of one or more predetermined sets of transmission parameters, and transmitting an indication indicating a used predetermined set of transmission parameters.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved flexibility of data flow control.
