FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control panels for an AES emergency system at a power grid substation. According to the invention, the control panel includes a microprocessor module, alarm receiving module, an alarm output module and a communication interface for one of the global network communication, substation communication, synchronization and reporting of events. Communication interface is an Ethernet-based interface, configured to connect to a network, based packet data communication, configured to transmit binary control and protection commands, such as IEC 61850 GOOSE messages.
EFFECT: technical result consists in that a communication interface is provided with the possibility of transmitting binary commands for protection and control.
