SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-curing compositions that have the ability to absorb energy and can be used to manufacture personal armor protection. Composition comprising polydimethylsiloxane with terminal 3-aminopropyl-dialkoxysilyl groups or a mixture thereof with silanol-terminated polydimethylsiloxane and a boron compound, the weight ratio of polydimethylsiloxane(s) and boron compound is from 2561 to 5:1. Composition may further comprise tris(methyldiethoxysiloxy)iron. Weight ratio of polydimethylsiloxanes with terminal 3-aminopropyldialkoxysilyl groups and terminal silanol groups is from 1:1 to 1:2.3.

EFFECT: proposed energy absorbing composition can be used to impregnate aramid fabrics in the manufacture of personal armor protection.
