SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Detector for detecting an object comprises a detection unit, a current measuring unit and an output unit. Detection unit generates an object detection result. Current measuring unit measures the current flowing through the electrical conductor of a power supply unit and forms an ablation circuit. Ablation circuit supplies energy to the object in order to ablate the object. Measurement unit comprises an electrical circuit with a binary signal representation. Binary signal indicates the supply of energy to the object based on the measured electric current and without direct electrical connection of the detection unit with the ablation circuit. Output unit detects and displays a signal on the supply of energy to the object from the current measuring unit. System for detecting an object comprises a detector and an energy supply unit. Storage medium for object detection comprises a computer program for detecting an object.

EFFECT: indication is made of whether the energy is actually applied to the object without necessarily requiring communication with the power supply unit actually performing the energy supply procedure.
