FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoacoustic methods and means for tissue monitoring and estimation. Catheter for optiacoustic tissue estimation contains case, terminal section with terminal electrode, made with possibility of ablation, optic wave conductor for creation of acoustic wave and acoustic detector. In tissue estimation with application of laser optoacoustic image formation, tissue is subjected to ablation with application of terminal electrode, energy of irradiation, which heats tissue to produce acoustic wave, is supplied, acoustic wave is detected by means of acoustic converter, characteristics of acoustic wave are registered and it is analysed to estimate tissue characteristic. System for optoacoustic tissue estimation, besides catheter, includes electronic metre, made with possibility of signal reception and registration of temporal profile of acoustic wave and processor, made with possibility of reconstruction of tissue image or profile on the basis of temporal profile. For optoacoustic estimation of heart tissue catheter-including system is used.
EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to improve sensitivity and spatial resolution of optoacoustic examination.
