SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to means of locating objects inside body. Apparatus for determining location of a first object inside a second object comprises a first object, including a first ultrasonic unit, a second ultrasonic unit located outside second object, wherein first ultrasonic unit and second ultrasonic unit are configured for transmitting ultrasonic signals to each other, a unit for generation of ultrasonic image of second object based on ultrasonic information from at least one of first ultrasonic unit and second ultrasonic unit, a unit for determining location of first object inside second object relative to an ultrasonic image on basis of ultrasonic signals transmitted between first and second ultrasonic units, and ultrasonic information from at least one of first ultrasonic unit and second ultrasonic unit. Method of determining location is performed by means of apparatus for determining location using a computer-readable medium.

EFFECT: using inventions enables more reliable determination of location of first object inside second object and higher accuracy of determining location.
