FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio communication and more particularly to the detection signals used by the enhanced node B (eNB). Detection signal (DS) allows the UE terminal to verify the presence and/or identify the identifier of the cell of the eNB node. DS signal contains several other signals, such as the primary synchronization signal (PSS), the secondary synchronization signal (SSS), cell-specific reference signal (CRS), and/or the channel status information reference signal (CSI-RS). Detection signal (DS) event comprises several subframes in which the selected signals having a DS signal are transmitted. Selection of the signals selected for the DS signal, their characteristics and properties allow the UE terminal to decode the cell ID. Detection signal (DS) event occurs at a specified periodicity.
EFFECT: invention allows the selection of the DS signal used to identify the eNB node for the UE receiving the DS signal.
