FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a concentric rotary fluid machine. Fluid machine (100) has first bodies (102, 104) that are rotatable relative to each other about a rotation axis. Bodies (102, 104) are coaxially arranged one inside the other and form a working chamber there between. Gates (110) located in gate pockets (140) are supported by body (104). Each gate (110) has gate cylinder (126) at one end and sealing portion (128) at an opposite end. Each gate pocket (140) has gate (110) retention recess which receives gate (110) cylinder (126), gate (110) seal recess which receives sealing portion (128) and an intervening land. Sealing portion (128) reciprocates up and down within a corresponding gate (110) seal recess and is always in contact with both gate (110) seal recess and body (102). Lobes (112) are made on body (102) causing gates (110) to swing about respective swing axes (114) as body (102) rotates relative to body (104). Lobes (112) and the lands are configured so that lobe (112) is able to form a substantial seal against a land when in mutual radial alignment.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing an effective seal.
