FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical devices. Plug for the drug delivery device comprises a base for sealing the hole of the said delivery device, comprising a central axis; two or more elongated elements extending from the base in a direction parallel to said axis. Elongated elements are directed radially from axis and define section of central recess coaxial to specified axis. Central recess is continuously tapering towards base between elongated elements adjacent in circumferential direction. In the first working configuration providing gas exchange, the elongated elements interact with the inner wall of the said delivery device in order to support the base at a distance from the hole so that the cavity provides gas exchange between the inner part and the environment of the device. In the second working configuration, providing sealing of the delivery device, the base is configured to interact with the inner wall to seal the hole. Disclosed are methods for lyophilisation and sealing of a medicinal agent and alternative versions of a plug for a drug delivery device.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of moisture exposure of the dried medicinal substance.
