FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used to regulate the position of the tumor capsule in endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery of the pituitary adenoma. To do this, reduce intracranial pressure using an infusion solution of sodium chloride and hydroxyethylated starch. In this case, a combined hyperosmolar colloidal crystalloid solution consisting of 200 ml of a 10 % solution of sodium chloride with an osmolarity of 2,464 mOsm/l and 200 ml of a solution of hydroxyethylated starch with an average molecular weight of 130,000 Da and a theoretical osmolarity of 308 mOsm/l.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to safely and comfortably achieve for the patient the restoration of the tumor capsule by decreasing intracranial pressure during endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery of the pituitary adenoma.
