FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: diffuser comprises an air inlet for receiving a flow of air from the dryer, a grid having a plurality of air outlets for discharging a first portion of the airflow from the diffuser, and a plurality of projections extending upwardly from the grid to contact the user's hair and to discharge a second portion of the airflow. Each of the projections comprises a corresponding air outlet located in the end portion of the projection remote from the grid. Projections are divided into a first plurality of projections and a second plurality of projections disposed around the first plurality of projections. Air outlets of the first plurality of projections are configured to discharge air to a second plurality of projections, and the air outlets of the second plurality of projections are configured to discharge air to the first plurality of projections.

EFFECT: diffuser is offered.
