FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a method of crushing into blocks and/or loosening of bulk material by means of high-voltage discharges and a device for its implementation. Method consists in that the flow of material when immersed in the process liquid is moved past the installation of high voltage electrodes, by feeding high-voltage pulses to high-voltage electrodes, high-voltage puncture discharges are generated through the material. In this case, the zone of the material flow, in which high-voltage piercing discharges are generated, is protected from the side by fixed areas of the same material. High-voltage piercing discharges can generate in such a way that the edge regions of the material flow remain intact. Device comprises the installation of high-voltage electrodes, transporting equipment located in a reservoir filled with process liquid.
EFFECT: crushing is provided without large wear and contamination of the elements of the device.
