FIELD: aquaculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine aquaculture and is intended for obtaining dormant eggs of marine copepods for long-term storage. Method includes daily collection of the eggs produced by the withers, which are washed from detrital particles and washed with a disinfectant solution. Obtained portions of the eggs of the acartias are placed in the sea water of reduced salinity, temperature and with a minimum oxygen content. They are then concentrated in vessels without access to oxygen and light and stored in a canned form in the dark at a temperature of +3(±1) °C for 6 months. To transfer the resting eggs to the active state and to harvest viable nauplii, the eggs are washed with sterile sea water with salinity of 18 ‰. Then the water temperature is gradually raised from 3±1 °C to 19±1 °C. Eggs are transferred to an incubator with treated sea water at a temperature of 19±1 °C, with oxygen elevated to a level of 85–100 % saturation, and constant illumination on the surface of the incubator of at least 500 lux at a density of about 10 eggs per 1 ml.
EFFECT: method provides for obtaining high-quality, high-quality live feeds of a uniform composition.
