FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to metrology, in particular to the means for remote monitoring of high-voltage equipment. Device for monitoring high-voltage equipment under voltage, which includes a receiver of signals from partial discharges, an optical sight, a laser aiming unit, a liquid crystal display, an automatic adjustment of the sensitivity of signals from partial discharges, and a signal processing unit. Output of the automatic sensitivity adjustment unit is connected to the input of a signal processing unit configured to transmit processing results along with voice recordings to a long-term memory unit for their transfer using the communication interface to the computer. As a receiver of signals from partial discharges, a system of two sensors equipped with receiving horns spaced apart from each other is used. Signals from the sensors are sent to the headset, so that a signal from one of the sensors goes to the left phone of the headset, and from the second sensor to the right.
EFFECT: improved device operation due to the possibility of a spatial representation of the location of the ultrasonic signal source.
