SUBSTANCE: device is referred to devices intended for remote control of live high-voltage equipment, and it may be used in power engineering. The device works on principle of detection of ultrasound signal in spectrum of high-voltage discharge. The device for control of live high-voltage equipment comprises a receiver for signals of partial discharge, and to this end an ultrasonic sensor is used, which direction pattern is formed by a receiving horn, optical viewing system, laser laying unit, liquid-crystal display, unit for automatic sensitivity control of partial discharge signals, and signal processing unit. In order to reach technical result the receiving horn is made of plastic with fibrous and porous structure obtained by 3D technology.

EFFECT: higher value of signal-to-noise ratio and increase in maximum permitted range for detection of partial charges at high-voltage equipment.
