SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Wireless device in the first cluster of network devices with neighbor recognition (in the NAN cluster). To connect to the second NAN cluster, the wireless network device detects a second NAN cluster, calculates a first estimate based on several pieces of attribute information of the first NAN cluster and a second estimate based on several pieces of attribute information of the second NAN cluster, compares the first estimate and the second estimate and determines to join the second NAN cluster when the second score is greater than the first estimate.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increased number of available resources on the working channel.
